An estimated 1-2 million crashes between motor vehicles and deer and other large animals occur every year in the U.S., and that number is increasing. Those collisions cause approximately 200 human deaths–and 26,000 injuries–per year, with property damage and other costs totaling at least $8 billion a year.”
